As a media student I have had opportunities to branch out and do other things than media. As I have done drama for over 4 years I am now apart of a 3rd years dissertation short film called “Where the leaves lie” directed by Lewis Bowden. This opportunity came at the right time as I get to see what it is like on a set alongside other aspiring producers and directors.

In the short film I play the character of Sam in a house party, its a minor role but its the beginning of professional acting for me. This is hopefully going to be filmed soon and will be done by the summer, it will also be shown at festivals which will interesting to see as I will be on screen not off screen this time.

Hi guys, sorry I have been MIA, update on my situation.

I am currently in my second year of uni and there is a pandemic going on so the country and most of the world is on lockdown but let’s not get into a rant right now. It is currently 2am and I have a sudden energy boost so why not update everyone.

I have recently done a charity show for Sunny for Sammy, here in Newcastle. It was an amazing show to be apart of as I got to go backstage and talk and work with directors and have an overall amazing experience which is outstanding for me. However I have been thinking and want to start applying for bigger jobs, obviously after university, like metro radio, everntually going to Capital radio.

However, as I go through uni I am prefering the more technical and creative side like when making a TV show, So who knows maybe I will become a director or producer. Let’s be real, I like to be bossy.

It has been a year so let me catch you up on my situation.

We are slowly coming out of a national pandemic, however I am in my third year of University and this is what is in the works right now.

I am creating a documentary for my dissertation about “How small businesses have been affected by Covid-19” and I am the director for this. I am also the Producer for two TV studio productions which will be pitched to all3media company, they are called “The Friend Test” and “Pick of the Litter”, which are ongoing. On top of this I am also creating a music video for another module, which primarily focuses on social anxiety and I am portraying this through visual representation with moving camera techniques and colour grading in post production.
